RAGE Facilities for 2021-22

Rinks that we have confirmed ice for 2021-22 season are below, updated to include protocols as of September 22, 2021.

First Ontario Centre

Address:  101 York Blvd, Hamilton, ON L8R 3L4, Canada

  • Entry at designated doors (Box Office off Bay St), exit up media entrance (or where otherwise directed), see map below

  • Masks must be word at ALL TIMES with the exception of Participants about to enter the ice surface. Coaches on a bench must wear masks. Coaches on the ice surface do not.

  • Entry 20min prior SHARP, as will be cut-off at the 15min prior mark. Kids are encouraged to come  as close to fully dressed as needed to ensure they are on ice on time.

  • Exit 15min after.

    • Referees, Coaches and Players if staying on the ice between time slots can stay in their equipment and move from room to room.

    • Coaches and Players ceasing to become “Participants” (i.e. sticking around to watch the next ice time) can stay in the building; however, MUST comply with the rules below.  Key note, for example a 14yr old Player is exempt from double vaccination screening with entry as a Player; however, staying as a Spectator must comply with double vaccination requirements.

    • If this is the case, you must identify yourself on entry as someone staying for the next ice time and not being a Participant.  You will then need to show proof of double vaccination if you are 12yrs+.

  • ALL Players under 18yrs

    • Need to show your team-approved health screen (i.e. green check on TeamSnap)

  • Spectator Capacity:

    • While arena capacity is sizeable, we have been asked to limit spectators to 1-2 people per household so that entry can be performed in a timely manner.  This number can be exceeded from time to time by exception; however, if we’re having 17 players bring 5 family members to watch – it becomes a logistical nightmare to get the kids in the rink and on time for the ice.
